    Abstract:
It has been successfully applied to the receiving beamforming of wideband digital array radar(WDAR) using stretch processing to linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal. However, it is still difficult to realize transmitting and receiving digital beamforming(DBF) of any type of wideband radar signal under the condition of large array aperture. According to the characteristics of WDAR and the development of digital signal processors at present, and by analyzing the array processing errors, two wide-band DBF methods in time鄄domain based on digital phase shifting and digital delay are presented after comprehensively considering the realization complexity in engineering and performance of method. The two methods both have relatively good engineering feasibility and can effectively overcome the aperture effect to achieve transmitting and receiving DBF of any wideband pulse radar signal. The effectiveness of the methods is verified by computer simulation and some factors that have a major impact on the performance of the methods are also discussed.

    2015(6):26-31.
    [Abstract](2570) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](38)
    Abstract:
In the presence of impulsive noise, the degeneracy of the robustness of most existing sparse recovery algorithms results in a sharp decline in the performance of parameter estimation for compressed sensing radar (CSR). In this paper, a novel robust parameter estimation method used in impulsive noise environment LTSIRLS (Lorentzian based Threshold Shrinkaged IRLS) was proposed. Firstly, the mixed LL2-L1 optimization model for sparse recovery under impulsive noise environment was built based on Lorentzian constrained L1 regularization. Secondly, the iterative formulation was deduced by exploiting the IRLS (Iteratively Re-weighted Least Squares) and the threshold shrinkage function. Thirdly, the convergence property of the proposed algorithm was theoretically proved and the computational complexity was quantitatively analyzed. It is verified that the proposed method results in more accurate support and signal recovery, smaller computational burden.

    Abstract:
Marine radars are widely utilized in our economy and society, which are mainly non-coherent and have simple signal processing units, and usually they are difficult to detect small targets in heavy sea clutter environment. Based on the different modulation effect caused by the antenna towards small target and distributed large sea clutter, two kind clutter suppressing methods which are called real鄄time method and non real time method using co鄄pluses difference methods are proposed in this paper. In the condition of not changing existing marine radar hardware system, the propose methods can effectively enhance the signal to clutter ratio for target detection. The performance of the propose methods were analyzed, and by giving the sea clutter model of corresponding ,the analytic expressions of the clutter-to-signal ratio in the condition of the two proposed methods was presented respectively. Finally, measured field data were used to validate the proposed methods.

    [Abstract](2548) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](43)
    Abstract:
The sensor needs to maneuver to get better observability in bearings-only passive target tracking with single sensor which makes the observation time longer. Multisensor bearings-only passive target tracking can solve the problem using exchange data. So the constrained least square estimation(CLSE) algorithm is proposed for multisensor bearings-only passive target tracking in this paper. The constrained condition is introduced to the least square estimation algorithm firstly. Then the eigenvector corresponding to the least eigenvalue of the matrix is used to overcome the shortcoming of extend kalman filter algorithm which needs the initial value. Also the CLSE is an almost unbiased estimation algorithm. The simulation results show that the CLSE can gradually approach the cramer-rao lower bound and its precision is better than the least square estimation algorithm. Finally, the CLSE is proved to be a gradually, stable and almost unbiased estimation algorithm.

    Abstract:
ultra-wideband sparse arrays, periodic and irredundant array has low grating lobe level and high azimuth resolution. Thus, the aim of array design is to design a two-way array whose one-way effective array is periodic and irredundant. Scanning array design is mainly discussed in this paper, and the conclusion that there is no design approach for the array with more than 4 elements such that its effective array is periodic and irredundant is draw. Then an aperiodic design method is proposed and its azimuth resolution and grating lobe level are analyzed. Theoretical computations and simulation results indicate that with the same number of elements, grating lobes of the proposed method are lower than those of the array with two transmitting elements placed on the ends of the receiving array. Finally, a scanning array is designed according to required azimuth resolution and grating lobe level.

    Abstract:
A novel SMA style RF connector with phase modulation to satisfy the requirements of phased array technology for phase consistence is presented. By changing the length of the inner and outer conductor of the connector, the phase of the cable assembly can be continuously modulated. With the method of adopting the coplanar-offset and analyzing the important aspects of affecting the electrical properties and phase performance, SMA style RF connector is designed and fabricated to make the cable assembly. By changing the physical length of the connector, the designed connector has a phase modulation range from 0° to 15°with the measured VSWR less than 1. 3 during the frequency band DC ~18 GHz. The proposed SMA style RF connector with phase modulation has the characteristic of simple structure, which can solve the phase consistence problem of cable assembly effectively. The simulated and measured results of the proposed cable assembly are in good agreement to validate the design.

    2015(6):68-73.
    [Abstract](2474) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](36)
    Abstract:
Transmitter-receiver isolation is an important problem in jamming system. Low efficiency of jammer and even self-excitation can be caused when the degree of transmitter receiver isolation is low. Transmitter-receiver isolation is not good when traditional LMS algorithm is implemented because of worse convergence accuracy. To solve this problem, a segmental variable step-size normalized LMS algorithm based on the state parameter of iteration coefficient is proposed. The state parameter of iteration coefficient is employed in this normalized LMS algorithm to express the approximation degree between iteration coefficient and real coefficient. Different kinds of variable step-size scheme are adopted when the value of state parameter of iteration coefficient is located in different segment. The theory analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the performance of transmitter-receiver scheme based on the proposed segmental variable step-size normalized LMS algorithm is better than schemes based on other LMS algorithms.

The direct current(DC) power systems consisted of diesel generator sets and rectifier are widely used as movable power devices, which can also be served as backup power in important projects or as important support for DC micro-grid. The pulse load is a kind of equipment which contains kinds of power electronics, and its power switches fast and in large range. The modern digital radar with transmitter and receiver(T/ R) modules is a typical pulse load. In the system consisted of diesel generator set, a controlled rectifier, and a pulse load, the voltage and current are in nonlinear relation. The system operation actions, which cover mechanical and electromagnetic process, are always in dynamic and difficult to be calculated by analytical algorithm. In this paper,we have built a system model based on Matlab/ Simulink, with this simulation model we have analyzed the different transient and stability index of the output voltage and frequency of the system with different modes of the pulse load. The results certify that our analysis results are similar to the practical waveform, thus the simulation model is reasonable.
