    Abstract:
Aimed at the problem that the traditional tracking methods based on a single model can not effectively track the whole flight process of near space hypersonic target, a tracking model based on SCT-IMM is proposed. A first time correlation coordinate turn model is established (Singer Coordinate Turn, SCT) on the base of the analyzing of the near space hypersonic targets’characteristics, CV, CA, and SCT model are adopt for combing the EKF filtering method to do IMM filter calculation. The simulation results show that the new model of computation is slightly larger than the single models, but the new model can be applied to the track all phases of flight of near space hypersonic target, and the position root mean square error and speed root mean square error are less than the single model, which is of certain significance to engineering practice.

The adjacent pixels around the detection pixel are used to fit it under total least squares criterion. In this way, the influence of noise is eliminated, and the clutter coherence between different channel is improved. Thus the clutter suppression performance is improved. The method is robust to error, and simulation results and real data processing are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.

    [Abstract](2367) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](0)
    Abstract:
According to the principle of Neyman-Pearson, the detection performance of the active MIMO mode of NRCS on the classicχ2statistic target model is analyzed based on multiple pulses. Then the false alarm probability and detection probability of slow and fast fluctuationχ2target are presented theoretically and the detection performance under different condition is simulated. The results of theory analysis and simulation have shown that the detection performance of the active MIMO mode of NRCS on slow fluctuationχ2 target outperforms that on fast fluctuationχ2 target. Moreover, with the increase of free degree and the num of accumulation pulses, the active MIMO mode of NRCS can get better detection performance on the classicχ2 statistic target.

    2013(4):39-44.
    [Abstract](2351) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](1)
    Abstract:
In wideband pulse radar system, the performance of coherent integration can be deteriorated by the pulse scale effect(PSE) and the across range unit (ARU) phenomenon, and the weak target detection ability will be further decreased. To address these two problems, a wideband Radon-Fourier transform (WRFT) is given. First, the wideband matched filter is designed. Then by jointly searching the velocity and range parameter space, the inter-pulse phase fluctuation and the ARU effect can be well compensated and the wideband matched filtering process can also be operated simultaneously, and the long-time coherent integration can be further realized, based on which the weak target detection performance can be improved. Furthermore, to decrease the large computation burden caused by ergodic search in WRFT, a fast implementation based on Chirp-Z transform (CZT) is given. Finally, detailed numerical experiments are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

    2013(4):77-80.
    [Abstract](2449) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](1)
    Abstract:
Atmospheric refraction is a significant error source which must be properly treated in determining the performance of a developing DME by flight testing. To reduce atmospheric refraction effects, there is a need for an accurate refraction error correction scheme. The equivalent radius method which represents a simple approach to this problem can gives sufficiently accurate results for low-altitude application. However, when used for high鄄altitude application, inaccuracies and failures to produce results have been observed. As an efficient alternative, we develop an improved method for computing the refraction error based on ray-tracing technique in given accurate subsection troposphere model. In this paper, the formulas for refraction error are derived and an algorithm which obains an approximate solution of the formulas is also presented. The introduced technique which results in high accuracy is readily applicable for a wide range of altitude . The efficacy of this technique has been verified by flight test results.
