    WU Jian-xiang WANG Wei-dong SHENG Yi-jian
    2004(5):37-41.
    [Abstract](2509) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](28)
    Abstract:
In this article a new demodulation structure based on D-channel Uniform DFT filter bank is given to obtain In-phase and Quadrature components (IQ) of the received signal. In order to get the IQ components for broadband signals, two D-channel Uniform DFT filter banks, whose ideal pass bands are set to be complementary, are used to reduce signal distortion caused by the non-idealness of filter in a single filter bank. When the signal spectrum falls into two or more channels, a method of spectrum assembling in frequency domain is used to obtain the positive or negative half spectrum. The demodulation algorithm for IQ components is given under condition that the carrier is recovered. Simulation proves that the system structure and algorithm are feasible and highly efficient.

By statistical analysis of SAR target chip image for choosing the initial value of the segmentation method, the efficiency of the algorithm is improved greatly. Compared with other segmentation algorithms, our algorithm improves greatly the segmentation speed and accuracy .

    Abstract:
First we analyze the requirements and characteristics of Electronics Warfare Receiver. The EW receiver must detect the signal in a wide frequency-band and wide spatial-direction. Secondly we suggest a method to realize the wide-width beam by phased antenna array sub-array division and synthesize technique. By using the wide-width beam we suggest a scheme to detect the frequency and direction separately in EW receiver. As a result the EW receiver can detect the targets more efficiently, and the EW receiver can also measure the direction and frequency more precisely.
