    [Abstract](2426) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](2)
    Abstract:
According to the need for simulating echoes of shipborne HF ground wave OTH (over the horizon) radar, this paper studies a method for real time simulating target echo and sea clutter of HF radar by studying transmitted and received baseband signal phase. Not only the realness of simulation but also the real time ness of simulation should be ensured, and the computational load can not be too huge. According to these requirements a method is suggested in which the receiving baseband signal will be obtained by delaying the transmitting baseband signal and adding the Doppler shift. Analysis shows that the method is more suitable for real time simulating sea clutter of shipborne OTH radar, and the simulation result is given. This simulation method is shown to be very good comparing with real sea clutter.

    Abstract:
High speed data acquisition and storing is a key technique of the software radio. If the real time signal can be recorded without error, then it can be analyzed with many modern methods of signal processing, which will lead to more accurate results. A high speed data recording scheme based on software is suggested in this paper. To realize it one only needs a DAQ card and a SCSI hard disk. Overleaping the file system is the characteristic of this method, which makes the real time data recording speed up to 40Mb/s. This method has been applied to some devices and works well.

    2004(4):21.
    [Abstract](2493) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](3)
    Abstract:
Basing on two state spline filter and Kalman filter theory, this paper presents a novel three state spline Kalman filter and maneuvering detection method. The three state spline Kalman filter uses spline function to establish target motion model, then uses Kalman filter to make state estimation. By detecting the new information from the filtering process, this maneuvering detection method can estimate whether the target is maneuvering or not. Because of the taking into consideration of the real time acceleration estimation, this filter method is applicable to maneuverable tracking of the target using its trajectory data. The simulation and actual data calculation result show that this approach of maneuvering detection has high precision and good performance.

    Abstract:
The phase gradient autofocus (PGA) algorithm was been proved to be an efficient autofocus method. The PGA assume a narrow beam in range,so the algorithm can't be applied to some SAR system. Phase Weighted Estimation PGA(PWE PGA)is suggested which takes into consideration the range dependent phase error,so the PGA can be used in more fields. This paper studies the PWE-PGA algorithm and presents a method for estimating the flight path by using it,analyzes the factors which effect on estimation precision.

After the analysis of self affinity of fraction, the prediction of the chaotic series is converted to finding a best self affine operator and subset based on applying the IFS, thus the rule of neighbor points is modified. Basing on the hyper plane method, the iterated prediction algorithm is deduced. The feasibility is proved theoretically. Simulation shows the method not only improves the precision of one step prediction, also possesses good multi step ability of prediction.

    [Abstract](2579) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](1)
    Abstract:
It's usual for a printed dipole to be encapsulated in polyurethane foam then use epoxy adhesive to glue glass cloth on the surface of polyurethane foam. This method has advantages of light weight, high strength, easy manufacturing and low cost. But the heat conductivity of polyurethane foam is not good enough to dissipate heat that printed dipole has produced due to its power loss. So the power capacity of printed dipole is limited. The calculation and test methods of the power capacity of printed dipole which is encapsulated in polyurethane foam are presented in this paper.

    CAI Jun
    2004(4):65-67.
    [Abstract](2521) [HTML](0) [PDF 0.00 Byte](2)
    Abstract:
When there is a certain restriction to the total length of impedance transformer, the characteristic impedance of conventional commensurate broadband matching networks would exceed feasible range. For nonuniform broadband impedance transformers, the design has greater flexibility because the constraint that all elements have the same electrical length is removed. In order to obtain optimal parameters of the transmission line networks, improved genetic algorithm has been adopted to optimize design, and dynamic penalty function is introduced to deal with the fitness function. The simulation result shows that impedance transformers designed by this method have better performance than those designed by conventional methods in most cases.
